Section 333-076-0140 - ASC Anesthesia Services (If Provided)(1) General or regional anesthesia shall be administered only by a physician, dentist or a certified nurse anesthetist. Either the physician or the CRNA shall be present for the administration of general or regional anesthetics, during anesthesia, and the recovery of the patients when any general or regional anesthesia is used.(2) In all areas where flammable anesthetics are used, such rooms shall be equipped and maintained in compliance with provisions of the 2012 NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code, adopted by reference, unless the governing body's written policy forbids the use or storage of flammable anesthetics in the facility.Or.
