Section 230-130-0480 - Fouls
(1) Head Butting.
(2) Low Blow.
(3) Straight kicking attacks to the knee.
(4) Strikes to the back of the head.
(5) Strikes to the spine.
(6) Strikes to the throat.
(7) Elbow strikes in any amateur competition without an agreement between the competitors and the use of approved elbow pads.
(8) Striking a downed opponent.
(9) Striking an opponent while under the referee's care.
(10) Shoving, throwing or wrestling an opponent, except in a legal clinch.
(11) Striking when the referee has called a break. Each competitor must take one step back prior to the comencement of competition.
(12) Striking after the bell has sounded.
(13) Holding the ropes or using the ropes a s a weapon.
(14) Timidity.
(15) Use of abusive language or abusive gestures.
(16) Causing intentional delays in the action.
(17) Eye gouging.
(18) Hair pulling.
(19) Biting or spitting.
(20) Holding the opponent's shorts.
(21) Knee strikes to the head while in a full or half Thai clinch in any amateur bout.
(22) Catching kicks is allowed for up to three (3) seconds. A single sweep, punch, kick, or elbow may be thrown prior to the release of the leg. No more than one step forward or backward is allowed while holding the kick. Plowing is not allowed.
(23) While in a Thai clinch, strikes are allowed for no more than five (5) seconds. No time limit will be enforced while in a half Thai clinch.
(24) Interference from a competitors seconds.
