Section 752:11-3-10 - Acquisitions by facilities management and housekeeping contractor
(a) The Authority may contract with suppliers to provide facilities management and/or housekeeping services. Contracts for these services may be cost plus, when applicable, and shall be competitively bid.
(b) Terms of the contracts shall detail purchasing authority and responsibilities of the supplier. All acquisitions requiring Authority reimbursement per terms of the contract must be preapproved by the CFMO or comparable position. At a minimum, the supplier shall be required to follow 752:11-3-2, with the supplier permitted to make acquisitions not exceeding $25,000 on the open market. The Authority shall manage the acquisition process of any maintenance/construction project over $250,000 and shall follow the competitive bidding rules as identified at 752:11-3-3. The Authority reserves the right to set internal policies for managing the acquisition process of any maintenance/construction project under $250,000.
