Section 310:667-9-11 - Executive committee(a) The executive committee (or its equivalent) shall coordinate the activities and general policies of the various departments, act for the staff as a whole under such limitations as may be imposed by the staff, and receive and act upon the reports of the medical records, tissue, and such other committees as the medical staff may designate.(b) The committee shall meet at least nine (9) months out of each calendar year and maintain a permanent record of its proceedings and actions.(c) Committee membership shall be made up of the officers of the medical staff, chiefs of major departments or services, and one (1) or more members elected at large from the active medical staff.(d) The committee's functions and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:(1) Consider and recommend action to the administrator on all matters which are of a medico-administrative nature.(2) Investigate any reports of breach of ethics by members of the medical staff, as referred to this committee by the credentials committee.(3) Act as the program committee for staff meetings, unless this responsibility is delegated to a specific committee.Okla.
