Section 310:410-3-40 - Assignment or transfer

The vendor shall not sell, assign, or transfer in any manner the authorization, the WIC vendor agreement, the WIC vendor stamp, or the WIC vendor number. Any actual or attempted sale, assignment or transfer of the above shall be considered a breach of the WIC vendor agreement. The death of a vendor (if an individual) or the voluntary or involuntary dissolution of a vendor corporation, partnership, limited partnership, unincorporated association, or firm shall cause the vendor's authorization and the WIC vendor agreement to expire. The vendor has an affirmative duty to notify the department, in writing, at the place listed in the WIC vendor agreement, fifteen (15) calendar days in advance of any scheduled sale, lease, bankruptcy, or cessation of the vendor's business entity, or the sale of any majority interest of any corporation or partnership.
