Section 165:55-9-1 - Billing period
(a) All TSPs and IXCs shall comply with the Truth-in-Billing Rules 47 C.F.R. § 64.2401.
(b) All end-users who are residential customers as of July 1, 2012, shall receive their bills via the United States Mail, unless the end-user opts to receive a bill through different means, such as electronically, via the internet. Residential customers who begin service with a provider after July 1, 2012, may be provided an electronic bill unless the end-user opts to receive a bill through the United States Mail. All end-users who are business customers may be provided an electronic bill unless the end-user business customer opts to receive the bill through the United States Mail. In no event shall there be a charge for providing a bill through the United States Mail. Whatever the method of delivery, bills shall comply with OAC 165:55-9-2.
