Section 165:45-5-14 - Meter testing on request of consumer(a) If a written request of a consumer is received at an office of a utility, the utility shall, within twenty (20) calendar days, test the accuracy of the meter through which the consumer is being served.(b) A charge may be made for a meter test requested by the consumer if it is found to test within limits of accuracy prescribed by OAC 165:45-5-12. The utility may make the charge if prescribed in the utility's Commission-approved tariffs.(c) A consumer may make a written request to be present when the utility conducts the test on the meter, and may have an expert or other representative present at that time. The utility shall conduct the test in the presence of the persons requested during regular working hours of the utility.(d) A written report stating the name of the consumer requesting the test, the date of the request, the location of the premises where the meter has been installed, the type, make, size, and serial number of the meter, the date of removal, the date tested, and the result of the test shall be supplied to such consumer within ten (10) business days after the completion of the test.Okla.
