The Director shall appoint a Deputy, Chief of Staff, the Director of CORE, or the Director of EDGE who shall perform duties of the Director as requested by the Director. If the office of the Director is vacant or if the Director is absent or unable to act, the Deputy, Chief of Staff, the Director of CORE, or the Director of EDGE shall be the acting Director for all purposes until the Director resumes duties or the successive Director is fully qualified. The Deputy, Chief of Staff, the Director of CORE, or the Director of EDGE may sign all documents on behalf of the Director, except those specifically required to be signed by the Director by law.
