EXECUTIVE ORDER 2021-22

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, to honor the life and legacy of former state lawmaker Leonard Earl Sullivan, who died on October 4, 2021.

Sullivan was an honorable and devoted State Representative for eighteen years, the Oklahoma County Assessor for fourteen years, and worked tirelessly on issues important to business and real estate. Former Representative Sullivan served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve, 45th Infantry Division. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Marilyn, and their two daughters, as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephew, and nieces. He will be remembered for his thoughtful and passionate advocacy for the families of our state.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.
