Executive Order 2019-45

I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 90.10 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, in recognition of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff on Saturday, December 7, 2019, to honor the many United States citizens who died or were injured on December 7, 1941, as a result of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. On this 78th anniversary of the attack, Oklahomans remember anew that fateful day and the resultant courage America's brave crewmen showed in the face of grave danger.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 4th day of December, 2019.
