Current through Vol. 42, No. 4, November 1, 2024
Section 1:2018-32

I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 90.10 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes, in recognition of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, hereby announce the continuation of all American and Oklahoma flags at half-staff on Friday, December 7, 2018, to honor the many Oklahoma and United States citizens who died on December 7, 1941, as a result of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. This Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day takes on a special meaning as this week our nation said a final farewell to the 41st president, George H.W. Bush, and have remembered anew an entire generation of Americans who answered the call for duty with dignity and fortitude to secure and preserve liberty for all Americans and our allies.

This Executive Order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management who shall cause the provisions of this Order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 7th day of December, 2018.
