I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017, to honor Chief Warrant Officer 5 James Doyle Roberts, who died on August 25, 2017.

CW5 Roberts was a devoted public servant who honorably served our nation for 42 years. During his time in the United States Army and Oklahoma National Guard, he held positions in Recruiting and Retention Command, National Guard Bureau, Army Human Resources Command, and the Pentagon. CW5 Roberts deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. He leaves behind a loving family and his service to our state and nation will never be forgotten.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 30th day of August, 2017.
