I, Todd Lamb, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013, to honor Former State Representative Forrest Claunch, who passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013.
Former Representative Claunch was elected to serve the House in 1994 and continued serving until 2004. He served for six years as chairman of the House Republican Caucus. He also served as the executive director of the Oklahoma Council on Public Affairs. Throughout his lifetime he was an active member of the Southern Baptist community. His service to the state of Oklahoma will be missed.
This executive order shall be forwarded to the Department of Capital Assets Management who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.
