Okla. Admin. Code § 1:2012-19
I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff until sunset on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 to honor those who were killed and injured on Friday, July 20, 2012 in the tragic theatre shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
The flying of the flags at half-staff is a symbol that allows the people of Oklahoma to express their sympathy and support to the families and friends of the many innocent victims of this heinous attack.
This executive order shall be forwarded to the Director of the Department of Central Services who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of State government.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 23 day of July, 2012.
