Okla. Admin. Code § 1:2011-40

Current through Vol. 42, No. 4, November 1, 2024
Section 1:2011-40

I, Mary Fallin, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011, until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011, to honor the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on America.

Oklahomans understand the terrible costs associated with terrorism. As our fellow Americans supported us in the aftermath of the 1995 terror bombing in Oklahoma City, we continue to stand with our countrymen on the 10th Anniversary of the devastating assault on American soil. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who mourn the loss of loved ones and who have suffered terrible injuries. Oklahomans join our fellow Americans in commemorating those we lost, those who still suffer, and those who continue to defend our nation at home and abroad.

This executive order shall be forwarded to the Director of Central Services, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Oklahoma to be affixed at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, this 8th day of September, 2011.

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA

Mary Fallin
