Section 3701-19-45 - Medical services(A) A pediatric respite care patient may identify his or her own attending physician or may designate the pediatric respite care program medical director to be their attending physician.(B) Each pediatric respite care program will provide or coordinate: (1) Effective palliation and management of life-threatening disease or condition and related conditions; and(2) Medical services which meet the medical needs of the patient that are not otherwise met by the patient's: . (b) A physician assistant under the supervision, control, or direction of a physician; or(c) An advanced practice nurse, who is acting within his or her scope of practice and who is working in collaboration with a physician.(C) All medical orders for treatment, procedures, tests, and medications will be signed by: (2) A physician assistant under the supervision, control, or direction of a physician; or(3) An advanced practice nurse, who is acting within his or her scope of practice and who is working in collaboration with a physician.Ohio Admin.
