Section 3357:15-19-04 - Student records

According to the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) student education records, as used in this policy , includes all official records (in handwriting, print, tapes, film, or other media), directly related to a student at Stark state college. School officials with a legitimate educational interest may access student education records within the scope of performing their job duties. Records not included in this policy are as follows:

(A) personal records maintained by a faculty/staff member to remember a particular situation;

(B) employment records provided they are used only for hiring purposes;

(C) records maifltained by campus security; and,

(D) alumni records that pertain to the student as a person versus an active student.
