Section 3344-33-01 - Policy for review of residency status(A) The initial determination of an applicant's residency is made at the time of admission to the university. This determination is based upon the Ohio department of higher education's residency rules provided in rule 3333-1-10 of the Administrative Code.(B) If an admitted student wishes to challenge the residency determination made at the time of admission, the student shall complete a "residency review petition" and submit such petition to the registrar of Cleveland state university, along with copies of appropriate documents used to substantiate the student's claim. The registrar shall act upon the petition as presented and shall notify the student of the decision in writing.(C) If the admitted student is in disagreement with the decision of the registrar, the student may request that the registrar direct the petition to the residency review committee for consideration. The residency review committee shall notify the student of the committee's decision in writing. The decision of the committee shall be final.Ohio Admin. Code 3344-33-01
