The child-placing agency shall have a policy and procedure in the event a child-placing agency closes. Prior to closing, the administrator shall provide at least a sixty-day written notice to the department, including:
1. A detailed plan for closure, specifying:b. Plan to notify each custodian, parent or guardian, foster care provider, adoptive family, and employee, no less than forty-five days prior to closure.2. A detailed plan to supervise and manage all adoptive placements;3. A detailed plan to accommodate all licensed or approved families and birth families to other agencies regarding closure of cases;4. A detailed plan of reasonable attempts to notify former clients of the child-placing agency's closure;5. A detailed plan of any arrangements made with another licensed child-placing agency to retain all permanent adoption records and provide post-finalization services; and6. Arrangements to transfer any other records which must be retained for a specific time period to the departmentN.D. Admin Code 75-03-36-22
