Section 69.5-01-07-10 - Equipment1. Whip and bridle limitations. Unless permitted by the stewards, no whip or substitute for whip may exceed one pound [.45 kilogram] or thirty inches [762.00 millimeters] and no bridle may exceed two pounds [.91 kilogram].2.Equipment change. No licensee may change the equipment used on a horse from that used in the horse's last race, unless with permission of the paddock judge. No licensee may add blinkers to a horse's equipment or discontinue their use without the prior approval of the starter, the paddock judge, and the stewards. In the paddock prior to a race, a horse's tongue may be tied down with clean bandages, clean gauze, or with a tongue strap.N.D. Admin Code 69.5-01-07-10
