Section 03 .0701 - SETTLEMENT(a) Settlement is encouraged at any stage of the proceedings.(b) A settlement agreement, submitted for approval, should state the terms of the settlement, specify any matter which remains to be decided, and state whether there has been any employee objection to the reasonableness of any abatement time.(c) A settlement agreement, submitted for approval, shall be posted and served in accordance with Rules .0107(e) and .0107(f) of this Chapter, and may not be approved prior to the expiration of time limits set forth in Rule .0107(h)(1) of this Chapter. Upon timely receipt of any employee objection to the reasonableness of any abatement date, the matter shall be scheduled for hearing before a hearing examiner.24 N.C. Admin. Code 03 .0701
