Section 02D .0534 - FLUORIDE EMISSIONS FROM PHOSPHATE FERTILIZER INDUSTRY(a) Emissions of total fluorides shall not exceed:(1) 0.020 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any wet-process phosphoric acid plant;(2) 0.010 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any superphosphoric acid plant;(3) 0.40 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any granular diammonium phosphate plant;(4) 0.20 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any run-of-pile triple superphosphate plant including curing and storing process;(5) 0.20 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any granular triple superphosphate plant that began operating after December 31, 1969;(6) 0.40 pounds per ton of phosphorus-bearing material fed to any granular triple superphosphate plant that began operating before January 1, 1970; and(7) 0.00050 pounds per hour per ton of phosphorus-bearing material cured or stored at any curing or storage facility associated with a granular triple superphosphate plant.(b) The phosphorus-bearing material mentioned in Paragraph (a) of this Rule shall be expressed as phosphorus pentoxide.15A N.C.
