Section 97C .0204 - AGENCY STRATEGY FOR ELIMINATING POVERTYThe Agency Strategy for Eliminating Poverty is the agency's statement of the poverty-related problems within the community and its overall plan of action to eliminate or have a measurable and potentially major impact on one or more of the poverty causes. It sets forth the goals and strategy. The Agency Strategy for Eliminating Poverty shall:
(1) describe the poverty cause in the community with appropriate statistical data (and sources);(2) rank the poverty causes;(3) analyze the resources used in current and past efforts to solve each problem; and the resources that are needed and can be utilized effectively to eliminate or have a major impact on the poverty cause;(4) formulate the goals with at least one for each poverty cause; and(5) describe for each goal alternative strategies and the strategy which was selected.10A N.C.
