Section 2302.31 - Assurance, fund distribution-part c

The State Education Department assures that funds it receives from appropriations made under section 401(b) of title IV of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act will be distributed among local educational agencies on an equitable basis recognizing the competitive nature of grant-making. Further, the State Education Department will provide assistance in formulating proposals and in operating programs to local educational agencies which are less able to compete due to small size or lack of local financial resources.
