Section 380-8.1 - General provisions(a) Each person subject to this Part must use the units of curie, rad, rem, including multiples and subdivisions thereof, and must clearly indicate the units of all quantities on records required by this Part.(b) In the records required by this Part, the person may record quantities in SI units in parentheses following each of the units specified in paragraph (a) of this section. However, all quantities must be recorded as stated in paragraph (a) of this section.(c) The person must make a clear distinction among the quantities entered on the records required by this Part (e.g., total effective dose equivalent, deep-dose equivalent, committed effective dose equivalent).(d) The person must retain the records required by this Part for three years after the record is made, or until the licensing agency terminates each pertinent license requiring the record, whichever is longer.N.Y.
