Section 368-3.1 - Purpose, Applicability, and Transition
(a) Purpose and Applicability. This Subpart regulates the collection, storage, and disposal of electronic waste and applies to all covered electronic equipment (CEE) manufacturers, collectives, retailers, and consumers. This Subpart also applies to any electronic waste collection site, electronic waste consolidation facility, electronic waste recycling facility, electronic waste collector, person conducting an electronic waste collection event, waste transporter, solid waste management facility, and hazardous waste management facility.
(b) Transition. Any person who was registered with the department prior to the effective date of this regulation must update its online registration form and comply with all applicable requirements of this Subpart by January 1, 2023.
