Except when a different fee is otherwise prescribed by law:
(a) The Authority shall charge a fee for copying of records equal to: (1) 25 cents per page for photocopies not exceeding 9 by 14 inches in size; or (2) the actual reproduction cost, which is the average unit cost for copying of records excluding fixed costs such as operators' salaries, for all other records.(b) No fee shall be charged for the search for records, the inspection of records or for any certification made pursuant to these rules and regulations.(c) Payments for copying shall be made by check or money order payable to the Authority and shall be made upon delivery of the copies to the person requesting them. Where the anticipated fee chargeable under this section exceeds $25, an advance deposit of 25 percent of the anticipated fee or $25, whichever is greater, may be required. Where a requesting party has previously failed to pay a fee under this section, payment of any past-due fees and an advance deposit of the full amount of the anticipated fee may be required.N.Y.
