Section 5904.9 - Application for planning and program development grant awards(a) Any one university or university-affiliated research institution may apply to the foundation for a planning and program development grant award aimed at enabling such university or university-affiliated research institution to qualify for designation as a Center for Advanced Technology.(b) An application filed pursuant to this section shall be filed with the executive director on forms supplied by the foundation between September 1st and October 15th of the year in which it is filed, provided that for the year 1982, no such application shall be accepted by the executive director if it is received after October 20, 1982, and further provided that for the purposes of chapter 53 of the Laws of New York, 1986 Regular Session, an application filed pursuant to this section shall be filed between June 30, 1986 and August 15, 1986, and no such application shall be accepted by the executive director if it is received after August 15, 1986. In no event shall the executive director accept an application filed pursuant to this section in any fiscal year in which no funds are appropriated by the Legislature for the purpose of planning and program development grants.(c) An application must be complete, in proper form, and verified by the responsible administrative and fiscal representative(s) of the applicant.(d) The executive director shall acknowledge receipt of the application and shall notify the applicant if he finds that the application is incomplete.N.Y.
