Section 5904.7 - Application by a Center for Advanced Technology for financial support
(a) Within 90 days of its designation as a Center for Advanced Technology, and annually thereafter, a Center for Advanced Technology may file an application for financial support with the executive director on forms supplied by the foundation and shall supply such information and data as the executive director may require.
(b) An application for financial support filed pursuant to this section shall be limited to an application for support for the following:
(1) the purchase of equipment and fixtures;
(2) the employment of faculty and support staff;
(3) the provision of graduate fellowships; and
(4) such other purposes as may from time to time be approved by the board.

In no event shall the foundation accept any application financial support for the purpose of capital construction.

(c) Any application for financial support filed pursuant to this section shall be accompanied by documentation satisfactory to the board that the applicant has commitments of support from private and governmental, other than State, sources in amounts at least equal to the amount requested from the foundation.
(d) Any application for financial support filed pursuant to this section shall be accompanied by a statement by the applicant of any financial support previously received by the applicant pursuant to this section.
(e) An application must be complete, in proper form and verified by the responsible administrative and fiscal representative(s) of the applicant.
(f) The executive director shall acknowledge receipt of the application and shall notify the applicant if he finds that the application is incomplete.
