The purpose of this rule is to prescribe requirements for reimbursing special accidental death benefits paid pursuant to subdivisions b and c of section 208-f of the General Municipal Law during each preceding state fiscal year.
It is adopted pursuant to subdivision e of section 208-f of the General Municipal Law, which requires the comptroller to adopt rules and regulations in connection with the payment of monies appropriated and made available for this purpose, upon audit and warrant of the comptroller on vouchers certified or approved as provided by law.
