(a) The presiding officer may direct that a hearing be held in any proceeding.(b) Hearings will be held at a location selected by the presiding officer and written notice setting forth the date, time and location of the hearing will be mailed or sent electronically to all parties of record.(c) If mailed, notice will be mailed via first-class mail prior to the date of the hearing.(d)(1) Hearings shall be scheduled to commence no more than 90 days after publication of an application or after service of the initial order or other notice commencing a proceeding on motion of the commissioner.(2) Where times for hearings and manner of notice are fixed by statute, such statute, and not these regulations, shall apply.N.Y.
