Section 255.821 - Leaks: nonreportable reading

Whenever an operator conducts an annual leakage survey of all mains, or a portion of the mains, in its distribution system, any sustained reading of four percent or less gas-in-air on a CGI at an isolated test point outside the curbline or shoulder of the road can be considered a nonreportable reading except where found in manholes, vaults or catch basins.
