Section 58.3 - Gas service to less than 20 customers

Where the permission granted the petitioner pursuant to Public Service Law, section 68, is to supply gas only to less than 20 customers specified by the commission, the commission may, if the public interest permits, exempt such corporation from compliance with all or any of the provisions of Public Service Law, article 4, except those affecting matters of public safety and the provisions of sections 26, 65 and 68.[FN*]

[FN*] The power of the commission to commence an enforcement proceeding, which is now set forth in section 26 of article 1 of the Public Service Law, was previously set forth in section 74 of article 4.
