Each automatically fired hot water heating boiler shall be provided with a temperature actuated control which win control the rate of combustion to prevent the temperature of the water from rising above 250° F at or near the boiler outlet and each automatically fired steam boiler shall be provided with a pressure-actuated combustion control which shall operate to prevent the steam pressure from rising above 15 psi. Such control for a hot water boiler shall be incapable of being set so as to permit operation of the heat generating apparatus if the temperature of the water is higher than 250° F.
