The requirements set forth herein are promulgated under Subsection E of Section 9-86, NMSA 1978, as amended and the authority granted under Subsections F and J of Sections 24-1-2 and 24-1-3 respectively and 24-1-5, NMSA 1978, of the Public Health Act as amended. Section 9-8-1 et seq. NMSA 1978 establishes the health care authority (authority) as a single, unified department to administer laws and exercise functions relating to health care purchasing and regulation.
