Section 20.4.3.300 - IMPORTED WASTE COMPENSATING FEES: ANNUAL IMPORTED WASTE COMPENSATING FEES

For waste that is generated out-of-state, but treated, stored, or disposed of in New Mexico, an annual imported waste compensating fee shall be paid in lieu of the fee provided for in 20.4.3.200 NMAC through 20.4.3.203 NMAC. The owner or operator of the facility first receiving the imported hazardous waste shall pay to the department annually one cent ($0.01) per pound of hazardous waste managed in New Mexico, in accordance with the provisions of this part.
