Section 9A:10-4.3 - Eligibility requirements for Program participation

(a) To be eligible for participation in the Program, an applicant must:

1. Be a resident of the State of New Jersey and maintain domicile in the State during participation in the program;

2. Have obtained a degree from an approved graduate degree program;

3. After being initially hired for full-time or part-time faculty employment at an eligible institution, maintained continuous full-time or part-time faculty employment at an eligible institution;

4. Have maintained a 3.0 grade point average on a scale of 4.0, or its equivalent, while enrolled in an approved graduate degree program; and

5. Have an outstanding balance with a State or Federal student loan program and not be in default on any student loan.
