Section 8:8-11.2 - Refrigerators for the storage of blood and blood components(a) The refrigerator for the storage of blood shall maintain the blood at a temperature between 1-6 [degrees] C.(b) Refrigerators for blood or blood component storage shall be provided with a fan for circulating air or be of a design to ensure that the proper temperature is maintained throughout.(c) Liquid temperature shall be monitored.(d) The liquid medium used shall reflect the actual temperature of blood in storage.N.J.
