Section 8:7-1.18 - Continuing education advisory committee

(a) The Department shall convene a continuing education advisory committee, which shall provide advice; examine trends, policies, and innovations; review needs assessment; and assist in the development of other pertinent activities regarding continuing education for public health professionals.

(b) The committee shall provide specific advice to the Board on issues regarding the ongoing process of the development of the continuing education rules and programs for health officers and registered environmental health specialists, as needed.
