Section 8:59-9.2 - Contents of the Right to Know Hazardous Substance List(a) The Right to Know Hazardous Substance List consists of the hazardous substances listed in Appendix A, which includes: 1. Any substance or substance contained in a mixture regulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, United States Department of Labor, under Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1910------Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry, Subpart Z------Toxic and Hazardous Substances.2. Environmental hazardous substances contained in the "Environmental Hazardous Substance List" adopted by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the Act and codified in the New Jersey Administrative Code as N.J.A.C. 7:1G.3. Additional substances which the Department has determined pose a threat to the health or safety of employees. The scientific evidence documenting the health or safety threat of the substances listed in Appendix A is contained in the reference sources listed in Appendix A.(b) The Right to Know Hazardous Substance List identifies the Chemical Abstract Service number, a common name, the chemical name, the Right to Know Substance Number assigned by the Department, the United States Department of Transportation Number, and the source or sources, which provides scientific evidence supporting selection of the substance to the Right to Know Hazardous Substance List, for each substance.N.J.
