Section 8:43A-2.8 - Surrender of license

The facility shall notify each patient, each patient's physician, and any guarantors of payment at least 30 days prior to the voluntary surrender of a license, or as directed under an order of revocation, refusal to renew, or suspension of a license and shall return the license to the Division of Certificate of Need and Licensing within seven working days after the voluntary surrender, revocation, non-renewal, or suspension of the license.

Inserted "a" preceding the second occurrence of "license" and "the" preceding the final occurrence of "license", and substituted "and shall return the license to the Office of Certificate of Need and Healthcare Facility Licensure" for ". In such cases, the license shall be returned to the Licensing, Certification and Standard Program of the Department".
