Section 8:37-7.3 - Waste removal(a) All solid or liquid waste, garbage, and trash shall be collected, stored, and disposed of in accordance with the rules of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and this chapter.1. Solid waste that is stored within the building shall be stored in insect-proof, rodent-proof, fireproof, nonabsorbent, watertight containers with tightfitting covers and collected from storage areas regularly, so as to prevent nuisances, such as odors.(b) Each facility shall establish and implement procedures and schedules for the cleaning of storage areas and containers for solid or liquid waste, garbage, and trash, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:24.(c) If garbage compactors are used, they shall comply with the International Mechanical Code, 2015 Edition, incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented, and local codes.
