Section 8:133-6.7 - Effect of determination by the Social Security Administration(a) If prior to the review date the Social Security Administration determines that the client is eligible for SSI benefits, then the client, if he or she meets all eligibility requirements, shall be eligible for Interim Assistance from the date of his or her placement in a community setting until he or she begins to receive SSI benefits.(b) If, prior to the review date the Social Security Administration determines that the client is ineligible for SSI benefits, then the client's sole recourse shall be through the Social Security Administration and his or her Interim Assistance appeal shall be denied.N.J.
