Section 7:27-29.5 - NMOG fleet-wide average exhaust emission requirement

(a) A manufacturer of model year 2009 through model year 2025 passenger cars or light-duty trucks delivered for sale in New Jersey on or after January 1, 2009, shall demonstrate compliance with the NMOG fleet-wide average exhaust emission requirement of Title 13, CCR, Section 1961, which average shall be based on the number of the manufacturer's vehicles subject to N.J.A.C. 7:27-29.3(a).

(b) A manufacturer may accrue NMOG credits and debits and use them in accordance with Title 13, CCR, Section 1961(c), except that the formula for accruing credits at Title 13, CCR, Section 1961(c) shall be based upon the number of vehicles the manufacturer produces and delivers for sale in New Jersey in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:27-29.3(a).
