Section 7:2-2.9 - Service animals and hunting dogs
(a) Service animals are permitted in any location where their presence is necessary to perform the duty for which they are trained.
(b) Dogs used while hunting during open season, or while used in field trials in accordance with New Jersey fish, game and wildlife regulations, are exempt from the leashing requirement in 7:2-2.8(c).
