Section 3:27-1.1 - Purpose and scope

(a) This chapter implements the New Jersey Money Transmitters Act, 17:15C-1 et seq., which combines under one license two activities that previously required separate licenses as well as two additional activities not previously subject to licensure and regulation.

(b) This chapter shall apply to all licensed money transmitters and to all persons whose activities require that they be licensed under the Act.
