Section 17:9-8.3 - Termination; effective date(a) The effective date of termination shall be the last day of the coverage period corresponding to the payroll period or month in which the last payroll deduction was made from the employee's salary for the coverage, if any are required, or the last charge shall have been paid by the State for employee's and/or his or her dependents' coverage or by the local employer for the employee and/or his or her dependents, as the case may be. Coverage may continue under the conditions set forth in 17:9-7.3.(b) Eligibility shall be terminated in accordance with the provisions of 17:9-7.2.N.J. Admin. Code § 17:9-8.3
