Section 17:30A-3.2 - Provisional approval of primary caregiver and temporary registry identification card
(a) Notwithstanding N.J.A.C. 17:30A-3.1(a)above, the Commission shall issue a temporary registry identification card to an applicant for issuance or renewal of registration as a primary caregiver pending the results of the applicant's criminal history record background check, provided the applicant otherwise satisfies the requirements for registration as a primary caregiver.
(b) A temporary registry identification card issued pursuant to this section shall be valid for no more than 30 days from its effective date.
(c) The primary caregiver shall surrender the temporary registry identification card to the Commission within 10 days following the date that the Commission approves or denies the primary caregiver's application.
1. The temporary registry identification card may be surrendered by United States mail to the Commission or in person pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:30A-3.1(f)1.
