Section 17:10-4.7 - Deductions(a) A full pension and contributory insurance deduction shall be taken for the JRS in any payroll period in which the member is paid a sufficient amount to make a full normal deduction. If wages are sufficient, deductions should also be made for any other arrears or loan deductions then in effect.(b) No deductions shall be taken, nor service credit given, in any pay period for employers who report on a biweekly basis, in which the employee's salary is not sufficient to cover the required deductions for the JRS.(c) Credit, as established in the retirement system, will be reduced by breaks in service and leaves of absence without pay with the total of such credit adjusted to the nearest month.N.J.
