Section 13:85-5.9 - Ranges-layout and equipment(a) Units of the curriculum designed for range instruction shall be conducted on a range approved by the Chief Administrator after inspection pursuant to 13:85-5.1. The range includes the paved area and any "run-off" areas surrounding the range. The range course for each curriculum shall be clearly marked and cones shall be positioned in accordance with curriculum standards.(b) Each range shall be equipped during the presentation of the course with a wireless phone or a two-way radio, a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher-Class B type. A wireless phone or two-way radio shall not be required where the range is located within reasonable proximity to a conventional telephone that may be used to contact emergency services.N.J. Admin.
